Minors can also register with Soundreef. The registration follows the standard procedure, with a few simple precautions.

✔ Fill out the registration as per the standard procedure.
✔ Also enter the details of a parent or legal guardian: name and email address are sufficient.

📌 The account will be in your name, and you can directly manage your repertoire and royalties. The presence of a parent/guardian is only required to validate your registration until you reach adulthood.

Until you turn 18, there are only two differences compared to an adult registrant:

1️⃣ The signature of the parent/legal guardian is also required, along with yours, on the Membership Agreement and the List of Works (works registration documents).
2️⃣ Royalties will be credited to an account in the name of the parent/guardian (bank or PayPal).

The signature of the parent or legal guardian is required to validate your registration and ownership until you turn 18 years old.

You don't have to do anything:
✔ The system will automatically update your profile when you turn 18.
✔ The signatures of the parent/guardian will no longer be required.
✔ You can enter a payment method in your name.

🔹 What is needed for the registration of a minor?
Only the name and email address of the parent/legal guardian are needed.

🔹 Does only the parent/guardian receive Soundreef communications?
No, all communications are still sent to you, but any documentation that needs to be signed requires, until adulthood, the signature of the parent/guardian as well.

If you are a minor, you can register with Soundreef, and the account is entirely yours. The supervision of the parent/legal guardian, who co-signs the Soundreef documentation with you, is therefore temporary. Upon turning 18, the system will automatically update everything, and you will manage your profile independently.
