📌 Introduction

Yes, you can change your payment method directly from your Soundreef account. However, to ensure that the royalty balance is credited correctly, it is important to update the details before the technical payment dates.

Below you will find instructions on how to update and what happens if you do it after the Check-Out.


1️⃣ How to update the payment method

Log in to your Soundreef account.
✔ Go to the Payments > Payment Information section.
✔ Select one of the two available methods and enter the correct details:

  • PayPal → Enter a valid and active email address.

  • Bank Transfer → Enter the correct banking details related to an active account.
    ✔ Save the changes.

📌 Note: The payment method update must be done before the settlement dates, otherwise the payment will be processed on the previous method inserted.


2️⃣ When to update the payment method?

You can change it at any time, except during the technical settlement dates:

  • The 6th and 20th of each month → The administration processes payments, so no changes can be made on those days.
    To be valid in the current payment cycle, the method must be updated by the 5th or 19th of the month.

📌 If you update the method after these dates, the payment will be processed with the previously registered method.


3️⃣ What happens if I update the payment method after Check-Out?

If the payment has already been processed and the payment method was not valid:

  • The balance may be rejected and returned.

  • In this case, Soundreef will notify you and you will need to update the method to receive the payment in the next cycle.

If the payment has already been processed and the payment method was valid:

  • The balance was sent to the payment method registered at that time and cannot be changed retroactively.

  • You can still contact Soundreef Support, via Messenger on the site or in account, to check your case and any solutions with the administration.

If the payment has not yet been processed, and we are within the 5th or 19th of the month:

  • Immediately update the payment method in account.

  • Also contact Soundreef Support to report the change and ensure it is correctly registered before the balance processing.

📌 Note: To avoid delaying the royalty credit, always update the payment method by the technical settlement dates.

If I update the payment method on the 6th or 20th of the month, what happens?
✔ It will not be possible to save the change because the payment is being processed. We recommend updating it before the 5th or 19th.

If the payment is rejected because the payment method was not valid, what should I do?
✔ Soundreef will notify you and you will need to update the payment method to receive the balance at the next available date.

If I update the payment method after Check-Out, will the balance be sent with the new one?
✔ It depends:

  • If the payment has already been processed, the previous payment method will be used.

  • If we are still within the 5th or 19th of the month, contact us immediately to check if the change can be applied.
