📌 Introduction

If your Tax Residence Certificate has been rejected, there might be some irregularities in the document.

Before contacting Support, check the following points to ensure the certificate meets the required standards.

1️⃣ Ensure the certificate is correct

Did you upload the correct Tax Residence Certificate?

  • It must specifically be a tax residence certificate issued by the local Tax Authority. Other types of tax or registry documents are not valid.

Does the certificate confirm your tax residence for the current year?

  • It must clearly state the current fiscal year.

Have you checked the certificate's expiration date?

  • We cannot accept certificates for past or expired periods.

Was the certificate issued by the local Tax Authority?

  • It must come from the official tax authority of your country of residence.

Is the document in English or does it have a sworn translation in English?

  • If the certificate is in another language, it must be accompanied by an official legal translation.

Did you upload the correct document to your account?

  • Ensure you did not accidentally upload another document.

📌 Note: The Tax Residence Certificate must be complete, clear, and meet the required standards to be accepted.

2️⃣ Certificate rejected? Here's what to do

If the documentation was rejected, it means it did not meet one of the above requirements.
Check which points are incorrect and obtain an updated and compliant certificate.
Re-upload the new certificate to your account, following this path:

  • Payments > Payment Information > Tax Profile
✔ After uploading, the documentation will be reviewed again.

📌 Note: If you are unsure why it was rejected or need further support, contact Soundreef Support via Messenger on the website or in your account.

3️⃣ Can't identify non-compliant requirements?

If you are sure the certificate meets all the above requirements, contact Soundreef Support for verification with the administration.
✔ Include your Soundreef ID in the message.
Attach the certificate you uploaded to your account, so we can investigate the reason for the rejection.

📌 FAQ

Can I upload a document other than the Tax Residence Certificate?
✔ No, it must be exclusively a Tax Residence Certificate issued by the official tax authority.

If the certificate is in another language, is it valid?
✔ Yes, but only if accompanied by an official sworn translation in English.

If the certificate was rejected, do I need to re-upload it?
✔ Yes, after verifying which points were incorrect. Once corrected, re-upload it in Payments > Payment Information > Tax Profile.

If I can't identify which requirements are not met, what should I do?
✔ Contact Soundreef Support for verification with the administration, attaching the document you uploaded.

📌 Conclusion

If your Tax Residence Certificate has been rejected, ensure it is the correct document, issued by the local Tax Authority, updated to the current fiscal year, and in English or with a sworn translation.

If the certificate contained errors, obtain the correct version and re-upload it in Payments > Payment Information > Tax Profile.

If you are sure the certificate is correct but it was rejected, contact Soundreef Support for verification with the administration.
