📌 Introduction
If your registration is not complete, there could be various reasons.
You can check directly from your account to see if there are missing signatures, expired documents, or errors in the procedure. Let's take a closer look.
🖋️ Have you signed the List of Works?
Check the Documents section:
If you haven't signed the List of Works, the registration cannot be considered complete.
You can sign it directly from your account.
👥 Have all Soundreef signatories signed?
Even if you have signed, check if there are any Soundreef co-authors/publishers still awaiting signature.
The system automatically notifies if there are pending signatories; just check the Documents section of the individual Track.
All Soundreef parties involved in the work must sign the List of Works to complete it.
⚠️ The deposit is considered complete only after all signatures are collected.
⏳ Is the document expired?
If the document has been pending for more than 4 months without signatures, it is automatically canceled.
In this case, you will see the status “Canceled” next to the document.
Contact support to have the List of Works resent to you.
📄 Have you generated the LoW?
If you have started the deposit procedure but have not yet generated the List of Works, the process remains at the previous step, thus incomplete.
Check your ongoing deposits and the completion percentage: if the List of Works does not appear ready for signature, it probably has never been created.
📩 Has your Soundreef co-author/publisher not received the signature request?
Check a few aspects:
Were they tagged in the registration?
If you did not select them among the right holders, they will not receive anything.Did you tag the correct name?
Did you use the right holders search bar?
Are you sure you didn't select someone with the same name?
Did you mistakenly enter the name manually, treating them as a non-Soundreef member?
Has the co-author/publisher checked their Soundreef account?
The List of Works will appear as pending in the Documents section.
The expiration applies to them as well: if too much time has passed, the document can be canceled, and you need to contact us for resending it.
🧩 Remember
All Soundreef members involved must sign the List of Works.
Until all signatures are collected, the registration is not complete.
Only after complete signing can you add the metadata (MP3, ISRC code).
🟡 Have you signed the List of Works but see missing data?
After complete signing, you can easily check if metadata is missing:
Go to the Tracks->Versions section of your track.
We will indicate if the MP3, ISRC code, or both are missing.
In the broader Tracks view, you also have search filters for MP3/ISRC to complete
📌 In these cases, the registration is complete, but awaiting metadata.
🚫 Do not confuse
If the List of Works signature is missing, the registration is incomplete.
If only the MP3 or ISRC code is missing, the registration is complete but partial in metadata. You can add them whenever you want.
✉️ How to sign or resend a List of Works
To sign: log in to your account and go to Documents.
To resend an expired List of Works: contact us and we will take care of it.
To contact Soundreef Support, write via Messenger on the site or directly in your account.
❗ Soundreef registrations and other collecting societies
If you register a work with Soundreef, your SIAE co-authors/publishers or those from other collecting societies do not receive notifications or documents to sign.
Similarly, if they register a work with SIAE or other collecting societies, you do not receive anything automatically on Soundreef.
🔁 You must always register in your Soundreef account, all tracks in which you hold ownership shares.
🛠️ Did you forget to tag a Soundreef co-author/publisher?
If a Soundreef co-author/publisher was not tagged in the work and therefore did not receive the List of Works, there are two options we can follow:
They can register their share themselves, in their account (making a "partial" registration that will automatically merge with yours).
Or you can contact support, and we will update the chain of ownership details.
❓ FAQ
🔹 I signed the List of Works, but the registration is still incomplete. Why?
There are probably other signatories (Soundreef co-authors/publishers) who still need to sign. Check the status in the Documents section of your Track.
🔹 My co-author hasn't received anything: what can I do?
Check if they were correctly tagged in the works and selected among the right holders. Otherwise, they can register their share, or you can contact support to update the work.
🔹 I can't find the List of Works in my account. What does it mean?
You might not have generated the document. Go back to the ongoing registrations and ensure you have completed the procedure correctly.
🔹 What does “List of Works canceled” mean?
The List of Works was pending for too long (over 4 months) and has expired. Contact support to have it resent.
🔹 Is the registration complete even if the MP3 or ISRC is missing?
Yes. The registration is considered complete after the List of Works is signed. MP3 and ISRC are metadata that you can add later (remember to do so, they are important!).
🔹 Does Soundreef notify non-registered co-authors/publishers?
No. Only Soundreef right holders receive the signature request. Right holders of other collecting societies will register and sign separately with their respective society.
✅ Conclusion
Always check your account in the Documents section, or on the single Track: if the List of Works is not signed by all Soundreef right holders, the registration is incomplete. Only after all Soundreef right holders have signed you can add the metadata and fully complete it.
