IMRO is the collecting society for Ireland, and we haven’t reviewed their internal rules yet. Collecting society regulations vary from country to country and can be complicated. We create guides and specific instructions for right holders on a case-by-case basis, depending on the number of requests we receive.

Although we haven’t reviewed IMRO’s regulations , it is generally possible for an author to limit their mandate with their own national collecting society - so you could tell IMRO that you want Soundreef to collect your royalties for background music royalties, but that you’d like them to continue to collect every other type of royalty.
