It depends.

Italian law requires radio and TV stations to pay the music broadcasting license after submitting their advertising revenue. That happens in June, based on the previous year. For example, the 2020 revenue will be submitted in June 2021. So, in the best case scenario, authors and publishers (registered with Soundreef or another collecting society) will be paid in October 2021.

Abroad, we collect royalties under reciprocal agreements. The deadlines therefore vary depending on the country of use and are based on the deadlines of the local collecting society.
